"The $100 Hoodie"

On 3/31/2020 the anniversary of Nipsey Hussle's tragic death I woke up at 4am missing Nip so much! Nipsey Hussle was a leader who I truly admired!

I first learned about Nipsey when he was selling his mixtape for $100. At the the time, I thought it was genius. I remembered hearing how many doubters said he couldn't do it. I recall learning about how Jay Z purchased 100 copies of Nipsey's Mixtape. People like Lauren London even gifted them to her whole cast at the time. His decision to take that risk changed his life, he and Lauren "Boog" love story later became one of the most famous love stories of our generation. 

Nipsey was fearless and he believed in himself, he lead by example and took a risk many others were afraid to take. He was nothing like a "rapper" he was a true visionary and leader in his community. We honor him by setting the bar at our business high and knowing what we offer to a industry that needs us!
