The Clermont Twins epitomize elegance and charm. I had the pleasure of curating looks for them at the OFF WHITE event. Although OFF WHITE had provided pieces for them, these selections did not align with their specific vision for their brand or their personal style. Consequently, I presented an extensive array of OFF WHITE garments and even explored the men’s section, coming close to selecting varsity jackets and tights. The oversized look combined with the sensuality of the tights and the allure of the open jackets was particularly compelling.

During that week, we had two significant events to prepare for: Kim Kardashian's party and the OFF WHITE x FARFETCH event. Despite an exhaustive search through every section, we could not find a suitable outfit for Kim’s party. I decided to visit Neiman Marcus next door from Saks Fifth Avenue to explore their designer sections, which often carry the same designers but different selections. I knew there was a red Givenchy dress that would be ideal. It is worth noting that the Clermont Twins prefer to avoid black when their hair is black, as different hair colors can better complement darker hues. Their reluctance to embrace the proposed looks was surprising, given their substantial influence—anything they wear tends to generate significant interest.

Navigating their preferences was challenging yet exhilarating. From my perspective, it was difficult to comprehend why they would miss Kim's party, while for them, it was preferable to abstain rather than risk a less-than-flattering photograph. Their discerning taste underscores their influential status, with even OFF WHITE dresses disappearing overnight due to their endorsement.

It was disheartening that they did not share my vision, as they are inherently beautiful and carry a significant cultural impact. I admire their pursuit of authenticity and their commitment to their own standards. Such determination is truly commendable, and it is this very quality that I deeply appreciate in them.
